Tea drinking, daydreaming graphic designer and illustrator with a love for all things tactile and hand-crafted, based between the South-West and the Midlands, UK. I graduated from Birmingham City University in 2021 with a first class BA (Hons) degree in Graphic Communication, and again in 2022 with a distinction in MA Visual Communication. As well as working on the occasional freelance project, I work at BCU as a Visiting Lecturer on the BA Graphic Design course, focusing on academic writing and contextual studies as well as teaching all things practical and creative.
My portfolio consists mainly of branding, illustration, print, and editorial design projects, and I'm also a keen creative artworker, copywriter, and copy editor/proofreader. I'm a deep thinker and love research and writing, both of which are hugely important to my process. I enjoy working with small businesses and start-ups, and have a passion for projects that focus on children's learning and education; using my creativity as a tool to aid their development and provide support as they grow.
In 2023 I started my blog/newsletter 'Add New Artboard', merging my love of research, writing and design by documenting monthly creative inspiration. I'm also working on opening a little passion-driven shop, producing handmade greetings cards, prints, and artwork both inspired by and aimed at children and families.
I love working on a range of creative briefs, so please don't hesitate to contact me if you have any questions or projects in mind!
